I know it’s Spring, and that now’s the time to pull out the garden of color I’m hoarding in those polish boxes.
But not today. Today…
|China Glaze Below Deck, Essie Chinchilly, and Hard Candy Cocoa S’more.|
On my thumb, index and pinky, I went with China Glaze Below Deck, a medium mauve-grey creme. It took three thin coats to reach opacity. This polish comes from the brand’s uber popular Anchor’s Away Collection from a couple of years ago. Best of all, Below Deck appears to have been added to the CG core collection. Two years after its debut, I still see it everywhere that sells CG.
On the middle and ring fingers? That’s Essie Chinchilly – another popular pretty that also happens to be my very first polish crush, aka the One that Started it All. Chinchilly is a dusty granite grey creme that picks up and compliments the mauve tones coming from Below Deck. Two thin coats achieved opacity.
FYI, Chinchilly is another “core” lacquer, found wherever Essie is sold.
And the Hard Candy Cocoa S’more, that taupe-y black and white glitter polish? A swipe on my ring finger, over Chinchilly marked a second accent nail; one with the textured suggestion of sweet tasty things. This indie-like formula is a Walmart exclusive.
Thanks for stopping by!
