It’s a public service of sorts: a program for lacquerholics to weed through the many bottles of varnishes they’ve accumulated, but haven’t yet cracked open.
To the left is my contribution for the week…
This medium grey crelly debuted on the indie polish scene in Fall 2011, as part of the brand’s Halloween-inspired collection, The Creeps. DMB is infused with black microglitter, as well as white and holographic glitters. Indoors, the holo particles flash an unexpected but pleasing aqua.
Dead Man’s Bones suggests just how stunning cement would be if dosed up with a little sparkle. If you can imagine such a thing.
Though speckled with glitter, I consider this polish an easily-wearable neutral. At press time, Dead Man’s Bones is available for purchase at the brand’s Etsy store, for $10US, plus shipping.
Happy Tuesday, and thanks much for dropping by!
