Confession: I’m not a snow person.
Seriously, you can keep those skis, parkas and lift tickets.
In fact, while you’re out having the time of your life, navigating the powdery stuff and frigid air temps, I’ll eagerly await your arrival back at the lodge, keeping warm by the fire. With a good book, a hot chocolate and a satisfied smile on my face.
Recently, with the blizzard that blew through this part of the Northeast US, I reached my annual capacity for dealing with winter. I’m so over it. Can we please move on to the next season? Pretty please?
Yet, with all that being said, I’m positively tickled to be wearing a blizzard on my fingertips.
For today’s manicure, I’ve lightly layered Oblizzarated over two easy coats of Love Angel Music Baby (that lovely gold semi-matte polish from the Gwen Stefani for OPI collection). Oblizzarated applies perfectly, and the formula allows for the quick repositioning of particles so that you get precisely the look you’re aiming for.
I love this glitter topper!
Oblizzarated features a storm of holographic near-turquoise blue circles and hexes, with adorable silver snowflakes and circles, all floating effortlessly in a clear base that’s been touched with a light blue shimmer. I used the snowflakes sparingly for greater punch.
“Divine,” I say! What do you think?
So, while the kids are out there navigating the bunny hill, how’s about joining me by the fire, and reveling in our fabulous manicures, eh?
Keep warm out there. 😉
Oblizzarated is only one of the consistently fabulous polishes handcrafted by Chaos & Crocodiles. FYI, the polishmaker is conducting a restock at 3:00 p.m. EST today, so I recommend you slalom on over to their website to see about nabbing yourself a bottle or two of this super stuff. The shop will open for previews this morning.
