Feeling Adventure Red-y? Check Out These Sugarberries!

Liz says…

I recently signed up for the Rainbow Honey Mystery Bag subscription – large style! While $25 a month is more than I’ve ever spent on a makeup subscription, it just makes so much sense. Three full sized Rainbow Honey polishes (retailing at $10.00 per polish normally) and three full size bath and/or body products (this month was a body lotion, a soap, and a body balm all in a delicious apple scent perfect for Fall) make it worth the investment.

Eventually I’ll probably end up sharing the other two polishes from this Mystery Bag, but for now I really wanted to share the lovely Sugarberries. This polish is a gorgeous berry-red shade that is chock full of gold and red glitters in a berry base accented by larger silver, holographic hexes. I took one look at this baby and swooned. Look at how much depth there is!!

FYI – you can achieve full coverage with Sugarberries if you layer three to four coats of the glitter polish (depending on the thickness of your coats and the level of devotion you paint with). I will admit it, I wasn’t feeling four layers of a glitter-heavy polish, so I made my life a little easier and pulled out my favorite red polish ever! That’s right, I am talking about China Glaze’s Adventure Red-y.

Rich, gorgeous color? Yes! Easy-to-work-with formula? YES! One coat to full coverage?! YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Sorry about that… I get a little passionate about nail polish sometimes and I just can’t contain my enthusiasm. Long story short, I adore how Adventure Red-y pairs beautifully with Sugarberries while allowing me to get away with two coats of the incredibly glitter-heavy polish. Can’t turn your nose up at that! At least I hope not! What do you think about this pairing of polishes? I’ve always been a huge fan of red and golds paired together, and this is no exception! Plop me in front of a roaring fire with a huge mug full of hot cocoa. I’m red-y for Fall!

Thanks so much! It’s not something I would usually drool over, but it literally looks like glittery raspberry jam. So much to love! 🙂
